About Mayes Mods
Mayes Mods is a small electronic modification and repair company set up by me, Andrew Mayes. I have modified and repaired many electronics including Xbox controllers, iPod touches, and PSPs. I can also fix many other items, so if an item isn't listed on my product page or isn't specific enough for your needs, feel free to use the contact page to ask me for a quote.
All of my products will come with a money back guarantee, so if I can't fix it, you get your money back (minus any PayPal fees or postage fees). Items repaired or modified from the custom quote form are exempt from this offer as many of the parts will have to be ordered, and I may not have any experience repairing the item so it may not be able to be modified or repaired. However, you will still be refunded all of the money not spent on parts. Please note that if you ask for a custom order I can still attempt to fix or mod the item, even without previous experience, although I cannot guarantee being able to fix/mod it. All items ordered from the products page are also covered by a no damage guarantee, so if your item is broken whilst it is being modified or repaired, it will be fixed or replaced at no extra cost.
I aim to get all repairs and mods done within 3 weeks, however, this time will be significantly less if I already have the parts in stock. I mostly keep a stock of Xbox controller mods/spare parts and a few PSP and iPod parts, so these can be done in as little as 3 days. Most iPod parts will only take a few days to arrive from our suppliers, however, some Xbox and psp parts have to be ordered from different suppliers in Hong Kong to keep the cost down, which is why it may take up to 3 weeks to fix/mod your item.
